O.K, I've made some progress. Got it installed and have reached the connect to Deimos statistics server page. Now what? I've not been able to connect to the server. I've entered the host name and clicked the connect button but keep getting a "Host not found" message. Port 3999 should be open, any ideas?

I'm using the hostname registered with Deimos and on this PC it's BladePB.....If I use the actual name of the host, Blade, then I get a different message.....error during SSL Handshake....Wrong Version, etc.

oo because i dont see no servers on the dashboard, all i see is manual connect with localhost in the box wriiten and thats it, then i just click ok and i get a timeout error :S let me try inputting the name instead of localhost
Maybe the hostname has to be the real hostname, not the one registered with Deimos? If I just leave it with the localhostname in the box I get a connection refused message.

At least I'll add a check to check if the interface is not connecting to an other application instead of deimos server.

how can i solve my problem of it not connecting to the server becasue the connection is refused :S
The interface will automatically connect to localhost and silently fails if it's unable to.
VishalC: If you completely kill / close deimos-svc.exe and deimos-dsktop.exe and run 'netstat -a', does it still have port 3999 open?

Remote Anything uses 2 ports, 3999 and 4000, only the 4000 port can be changed unfortunately. Having read another post and looked at a few other profiles it looks like it creates another profile by adding a 1 to the end of the original registered client. I'm not at all happy with that so would it be possible to keep the original client name and add the stats from a future version 0.8 to that client?

350Z: Deimos 0.8.07 will use the port 39690 instead of 3999. 39690 is far more unused.
A new computer is only created when upgrading from 0.57 to 0.8x. When the new website will be up, you will be able to (automatically) merge computers into one
