I noticed there's a windows v0.8.11 on the downloads page again, although the link points to 0.8.09.
Is there really a new version up for testing? I wouldn't mind to test it.

No, not yet. At the moment the newest version for Windows is 0.8.09.
0.8.11 is only available for Linux at the moment.
0.8.11 for Windows was pulled back due problems and the next version for Windows will be simply 0.8.12
However at the moment I am busy with (usability) improvements to the website, after that I will focus my attention at the application again.

I've released 0.8.12 which is basically the stable version and fixes the last bugs still in the application.
For the future I will be working on improving the website (especially viewing your statistics) and the 0.9x of the application
