I'm updating my machines to 0.8.13, no problems with the XP machines but with Vista I'm getting a connection refused message, any ideas?

0.8.13 and Vista
I have had a few bugreports about problems in Vista but so far I have not found any crashes.
But this is more odd considering that according to that log, the deimos service shutdown normally, which should only happen when you stop the service/shutdown windows. Are you sure that the right log?
Second: the interface won't connect. Is the deimos-svc service running?

I closed Deimos down manually at that time. Tried a fresh install...service is running, here's the logs

I have also tried 0.8.09 with the same result. I set Windows firewall to allow 39690. Other Vista users run with 0.8.09 so the problem is possibly with my machine. I'll try my other Vista laptop later today.

O.K, my other Vista laptop works fine with 0.8.13, obviously the problem lies with the machine and not Deimos. I'll have to make further investigations:)

Is there something different between this system and your other Vista-computers? Installed service packs? UAC?

The systems both have SP1 installed. Other than that one is a Sony, the other an HP, both with factory installed Vista. My wife uses the HP which is the one that's giving the problem 
. I tried the Beta, it's not connecting but asking for The Deimos server Network-Address , once I have that I'll try a manual connect.
UAC should be the same, I'll check.

Perhaps 32bit/64bit?
I'm using the 32Bit version, which is the right one. Something is blocking 0.8.xx, I've no idea what or why. 0.57 is not having any problems so I'm completely baffled.
Edit, I don't really have any more time to spend on this. I've tried just about everything so if anyone has any more ideas please let me know. I'll leave it running gathering snapshots in the hope that a future version will work.

O.K, This is odd. It didn't work right away with 0.8.20 but after a bit of messing around I got it to work. Then it stopped working, connection refused. So I reinstalled and it looks to be working O.K. Will keep you updated,

This machine wouldn't work with any version of 0.8. I have now installed the crash fix version. Has started up O.K, I guess I'll know if its working properly pretty soon
