I just noticed I got the bandwidth hog badge, for downloading >100Gb of data in one day, but I knew that was not possible, so I checked the client and it says for today:

Yeah, I also have that award but I only have a 2.5/3.0 meg line. I often transfer big files from computer to computer and I'm wondering if this gets counted in the stats?

@350Z: Yes, it also counts transferred files over LAN (which is over your networkcard).

I double checked but I do not see anything wrong. The display of data at the website is correct, my own network-usage is correct, the commit-handling code seems to handle the large numbers fine. Yet, it shows 167GB in a day.

I think I didn't change anything... I uninstalled and reinstalled deimos a few times due to that other problem of sometimes the user interface shutting down, and appearing two deimos icons on the systray...
I also haven't been paying attention to the network values since that past version problem that gave me huge terabyte amounts, but now that I saw I got that achievement I checked and the values for the last week seem to be way off indeed. But this might have been for some time already and I didn't know.
For this week I'm seeing values of 40 and 60 Gb in some days which is not possible too.
I don't have a LAN setup here so it cannot be from that. I do have a router and 3 PCs are connected to it but we don't transfer anything to each other through it.

Wait, now that I remember I did change something...
I had a wireless setup working and a few days back I tried plugging the computer to the router directly by cable (it has 4 lan ports), but I think ever since I did that the wireless part has been inactive on the PC. I don't think Vista is using both connection even though they both appear as working.
I also updated the LAN drivers on vista, and now Deimos identifies my network card as "Realtek GBE", when before it identified it as "Realtek RTLxxxxx". (some long number)

Ah posted in an other topic about this. But i have the same problem. online stats say i download 45gb and uploaded 19gb but the correct stats are Download 4,98GB and upload 2,13GB
Last 2 days I have been looking into this and I have found the problem. Still running a few tests but it seems I have to release a new version to fix this...
My stats are fooked too indeed. 188gb on site upload, client says 63gb, think client is right seeing DC++ stats & deimos client stats.
Yep. The application itself was showing the network bandwidth correct, however those stats were sent incorrect to the website. This has been fixed with 0.8.22
I just installed 0.8.22 but I'm going to be away for the next week so won't be able to monitor the network values.
