The Deimos Project

Hi,

Just installed this program after Soepkip recommended it and I can see it is installed correctly. Service is running and everything (checking if stats are being send, so should know it within the hour). Although when starting the Deimos Interface it auto closes after 10 to 12 seconds.

Seems I cannot link my computer to my account?

Hi,

A simple check if the service is running is to check if deimos-svc.exe is running. If it is, then it's only the interface giving problems.

The first time you start up the interface, you need to login. After that, your computer will appear at the website. But if the interface won't work, you are unable to login the first time.

Radiati0n: What is your Windows version?

In order to fix this I need 2 things:
- The log of the interface, which can be found in C:\users\xxx\.deimos-ui
- Any .dmp files (crashdump) in C:\program files\deimos

UPDATE: I can confirm at this point that Windows Vista 32-bit is problematic. I don't have an idea why at this point because everything works in Windows XP and Windows 7 (especially because 7 is in many ways the same as Vista)

My laptop runs Vista 32bit, I don't see anything not working (I also have it running on my XP SP3 server, and W7Ultimate main PC) as it should
